Siendo que la Fuerza Armada Salvadoreña es el primer ente estatal establecido después de la Independencia y principal testigo de la Historia Salvadoreña, nos guiaremos por sus monumentos históricos. Iniciando en el Museo Militar, originalmente cuartel el Zapote localizado a un costado de la ex casa presidencial donde podremos apreciar desde armamento militar utilizado en la época de la Colonia hasta nuestro tiempo, uniformes utilizados por mandatarios Salvadoreños de principios de siglo hasta el Papamóvil diseñado y ensamblado en nuestro País y según los informes el mejor de su época, utilizado por el Papa Juan Pablo II en sus dos visitas al País. Después nos dirigiremos hacia el Museo de Aviación localizado en el Aeropuerto de Ilopango, aquí conoceremos un poco mas de la historia de la aviación en nuestro país conociendo los diferentes aviones utilizados a través del tiempo. Finalmente regresaremos al Centro Comercial El Amate
Being the Salvadorian Armed Forces the first state institution established after the Independence of El Salvador and principal witness to the Salvadorian History, we will guide our selves helping us with its historical monuments. Initiating at the Militar Museum, originally called Cuartel El Zapote ( Barrack El Zapote), locatednext to the ex- Presidential house. Here we will appreciate from military armaments used in the Colonial epoch up to our times, uniforms used by Presidents at the beginning of the century. We will also see the Popes Vehicle designed and assembled in our country which, according to international reviews, is one of the best of its time. It was used by John Paul II in both of his visits to the country. Our next stop is the Aviation Museum located at the Ilopango Airport.Here we will learn more about the aviation history in our Country by knowing the different planes used throughout the years. Finalizing our tour we will return to the Street Mall “El Amate”
