Recorriendo las principales avenidas de la ciudad nos instruiremos sobre la historia de El Salvador relatada por los diferentes monumentos dispersos a lo largo de la capital. Pasaremos por la Plaza de Las América en cuyo centro se encuentra el monumento en honor al santo patrono de nuestro País, “ El Salvador del Mundo”; seguiremos por la Alameda Roosevelt hasta llegar a la Plaza Barrios frente a la cual encontraremos la imponente Catedral Metropolitana y a un costado el elegante Palacio Nacional ambos de gran preponderancia histórica. Finalmente visitaremos el Teatro Nacional de estilo arquitectónico Neoclásico el cual nos recuerda a los grandes Teatros Europeos. Finalmente regresaremos al Centro Comercial El Amate
Going thru the principle avenues of the city, we will learn about the history of El Salvador told by the different monuments scattered around the capital city. Plaza de Las Americas where we find the monument that honors the Country’s patron saint “ El Salvador del Mundo”; then taking the Alameda Roosevelt we will arrive up to the Plaza Barrios. In front of this plaza we can find the Metropolitan Cathedral, on one side the elegant National Palace both of great historical importance. Finally we will visit the National Theater of neoclassic architectonical style which reminds us of the great European theaters. Finalizing our tour we will go back to the street Mall “El Amate”.
