Iniciando en el Centro comercial el Amate (Horario establecido) haremos un recorrido por la ciudad Heroica, Santa Ana. Esta ciudad refleja en sus monumentos la riqueza e influencia Europea existente en El Salvador para inicios de Siglo. La ciudad Diseñada sobre una cuadricula nos muestra la típica disposición española de ciudad. Visitaremos uno de los teatros mejor conservados en Centroamérica, el cual nos transportará a la época del apogeo del Café cuando la clase alta salvadoreña se servía de sus instalaciones para disfrutar de un poco de esparcimiento. La Catedral de nuestra Señora de Santa Ana es sin lugar a dudas una iglesia Gótico-Barroca por excelencia. Sus arcos apuntados, torres alargadas y saturación de detalles, no envidia en nada a las grandes iglesias Europeas. Visitaremos también otros edificios de relevancia histórica y belleza arquitectónica.
Starting at the street Mall el Amate (check Schedule), we will do a tour thru the heroic city of Santa Ana. This city reflects on its monuments the luxury and influence of Europe existent in El Salvador at the beginning of the Century. The city was designed over a grid which shows the typical Spanish disposition of city. We will visit one of the best well preserved theatres in Central America, which will take us back to the height of the Salvadorian Coffee production when the high class at the time would come to the theatre for recreation. The Cathedral of our Lady Santa Ana, is with no doubt a baroque-gothic church. Its high archers, long towers and detail saturation do not envy any of the greatest churches in Europe. We will visit some other buildings of incredible beauty and historical relevance.
