Nos conduciremos hasta llegar a la Hermosa ciudad de Suchitoto “Lugar de pájaros y Flores”, su nombre en Nahuat. Esta ciudad ofrece, además de arquitectura colonial, la esencia de ciudad antigua de gran imporancia para el desarrollo del añil o índigo. Aquí visitaremos la Iglesia de Santa Lucia, construida en 1853 Es uno de los principales atractivos de la ciudad por su estructura e importancia histórica. Después de visitar la ciudad y algunas de las tiendas artesanales ubicadas dentro de las casas restauradas, nos dirigiremos hacia el Lago Suchitlán, un lago artificial de 135 Km cuadrados, siendo esta la mayor superficie de agua en el país. Aquí daremos un paseo en lancha para observar la fauna y flora del lugar. Al terminar nuestro recorrido, disfrutaremos de un almuerzo en un agradable restaurante con vista panorámica. Finalmente regresaremos al Centro Comercial el Amate.
We will visit the beautiful city of Suchitoto, “Place of birds and Flowers,” its name in nahuat. This city offers not only colonial architecture but the old city essence feeling, of great historical importance for the indigo industry development. Here we will visit the church “Iglesia de Santa Lucia”, built in 1853. It is one of the main attractions of the town because of its structure and historical importance. After visiting the town and some hand craft / souvenir stores located in the restored houses, we will go to the Suchitlán Lake, an artificial lake of 84 square miles, the largest water surface in the country. Here we will take a boat to different islands and do some bird watching. At the end we will enjoy lunch in a nice restaurant with a panoramic view of the lake. Finalizing our tour we will return to the Street Mall “El Amate”
